Lucknow: The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has achieved a significant administrative milestone by securing first place in Uttar Pradesh in the state government’s Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) rankings for June 2026, earning a perfect 100 percent score for the effective disposal of public complaints.
According to the rankings released by the Uttar Pradesh Government, the Commissionerate’s outstanding performance reflects its commitment to ensuring timely, transparent, and quality resolution of grievances submitted through the state’s public hearing and complaint redressal portal.
Officials attributed the achievement to the leadership of Lucknow Police Commissioner Amarendra Kumar Sengar, along with the effective guidance of the Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime & Headquarters) and continuous monitoring by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) and the IGRS nodal team at the Commissionerate headquarters.
50 Police Stations Also Score 100 Percent
In another remarkable accomplishment, 50 police stations under the Lucknow Commissionerate also secured 100 percent marks, helping the Commissionerate attain the top position among police units across the state.
The success is the result of a robust grievance management system that emphasizes transparency, accountability, quality review, and strict adherence to timelines. Senior officers regularly monitor complaint disposal, conduct reviews, and ensure feedback is obtained from complainants to assess the effectiveness of the resolution process.
